Finance and Administration Assistant

​

Are you a motivated, self-starter with a pleasant demeanour? Are you flexible and able to multi-task? The Finance and Administration Assistant will be responsible for a variety of tasks across our group of companies in both the technology and hospitality industries and will work with a team report to senior management.

What you’ll be doing:
​

· Finance –

o Preparation and processing of day-to-day financial information to include invoice processing, recording of turnover, cash receipts and reconciliations etc.

o Preparation of monthly management accounts for review, to include all balance sheet item reconciliations, month end journals etc.

o Preparation of monthly Revenue returns for review and filing of same.

o Preparation of supplier reconciliations and payment runs for review and processing of same.

o Management of cash, bank and inventory reconciliations.

o Weekly payroll processing including related Revenue returns.

o Assisting with the preparation of cashflow forecasts and financial budgets.

o Assisting with the procurement of goods/services as required.

 

· Administration –

o Managing customer queries

o Liaise with both technical and finance departments on any customer related queries

o Maintaining the company’s CRM system with customer related information

o Processing of all customer related paperwork, ordsers etc.

o Assisting with operations projects where necessary.

o Assisting with sales and marketing projects where necessary.

· Performing general office administration and organisation duties

· Other ad-hoc duties as required.

 

 

We’d like you to have:

· 2 years+ experience in a similar role

· Qualified or part-qualified Accounts Technician and/or bookkeeping experience

· Experience of using SAGE accounting software advantageous but not essential

· Payroll processing experience advantageous but not essential

· Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

· Strong computer skills

· Experience with CRM system advantageous

· Energetic, self-motivated and self-directed

· Hardworking, enthusiastic, persistent and dependable

· Friendly and professional attitude

· Excellent communication and organisational skills
