SIRO has announced the expansion of its full-fibre broadband network to Carrick-on-Shannon, Leitrim. The rollout will encompass over 1,800 homes and businesses and is part of SIRO's plan to provide high-speed connectivity across Ireland.

The full fibre broadband network build works began in April 2023, and the rollout is expected to complete in the fourth quarter of 2023. The coverage will span various areas, including Oaklands Manor, Cara Court, Autumn View, Summerhill Grove, Glenpatrick, Shannon View, Shannon Lodge, Cnoc na Sí, Marina Road, Elysian Meadows, Ath na Rí, and Maigh Glas.
